Most of my posts are friends locked or left unlocked for a specific reason, which is not much use if you've just found my journal having meet me IRL or elsewhere online and are stopping by to say "Hi", hence this post.

Update (07/04/2017) - Just imported this wholesale from LJ, so need to go back through some, rewrite the bio, tweak filters and try and add people again. :)

Brief return

Just came back to hunt through old posts to try and find something from 2010, so I could better calculate my average scores doing the aspie quiz. (Neurodivers 150.3 and Neurotypical 63.1, in case you were curious.)

Very out of practice and had to check how to format this, very used to posting on FB now, though how much of actual substance get posted is very variable (probably true of what I posted here, but this way more text that I'm used to).

Additional to previous post

We'd had hoped this was history enough and that everyone concerned had moved on, but apparently not. We only saw the post after we'd been out to the Leicester Munch meal, but this would explain why quite a few people were more than a little twitchy, several have been avoiding us and/or excluding Kira.

Given the context, we have a theory...

Finished 3 more Euro6in1 bracelets
http://twitpic.com/1fcujp
Need to get some more purple and violet links to make more of these, maybe some yellow and orange so I can make a rainbow version. Also want to experiment with black as trim colour.

Need to order more materials, but I think I've still got the bits to make chunky rainbow box-chain. Trying to remember if I ever got around to getting the violet so I could make 7 colour rainbow...

Work in Progress and Commisions.

I've had a commission that I'll need to order materials for in the next couple of weeks, so if you're thinking of enquiring about a commission, now would be an excellent time to get in touch!

I'll also be getting materials for the Japanese-style bracelets, so I can start selling those on Folksy.

2 colour 18g 1/4" Al box-chain sample, which will probably be a necklace when I've finished.

For sale

Been keeping busy while I was away. Not only did I managed to all-but-finish a couple of commisions I had to do, I also managed to make up 2 silver and 2 silver with purple niobium detail glowstick holders and a pair of silver earrings (similar to the ones 2 down).

The earrings are £16, the glowstick holders are £15 each and come with a couple of spare sticks, plus a couple of quid P&P.

Weaves:
Trizantine - Was the weave I was trying to discribe for you.
or maybe
6in1 Full Persian - If you want something more solid looking. Here's one I made earlier... )

Materials:
My usual supplier do 10k solid or 14k gold filled, but as mentioned, I'm sure I can source gold wire and make the links up myself if that would be prefered.

Silver Round-Mail Vial Pendant )
I may change the decorative chain on this, add a bit of purple niobium just to break up the silver a bit, also swop the 2 links the chain goes through for purple, make them a bit easier to find when re-therading it.

I've updated the website again, mostly just a bit of a tidy up, but I've finally added the perfume vial pendant prototype to the curiosities page.

Perfume vial pendent prototype

This is has been made in titanium and fits a perfume sample vial (with the clip trimmed off). The silver and niobium detail at the bottom was to get an idea if a bit of decoration would work. I've just got some silver in the right size, so will be making up a another at some point soon.
